"I Pledge Allegiance"

by Jerry Hodge
The other night I had a dream that our country took God out of our Pledge Of Allegiance. All of a sudden things started to change. I guess the correct word is evolve. Soon CEO's, CFO's, & COO's of large firms started hiding information so they could make money at the demise of their employees. Men and women who had worked their whole life for a company soon saw their retirement disappear. Accounting firms put in place for such disinformation began to cover up the lies. They cooked the books to the delight of a few. Well known companies soon lied about billions. The government stepped in because when it comes to distorting the facts---they were experts. They said to the business world, "You need to be honest", however, they had forgotten honesty had been removed with God. And without God concern for others isn't a concern.

The removal of God impacted the local government too. I dreamed that a Strip Club within 1,000 feet of a library, park, and museum was still approved. Although it went against city ordinance, the city council thought it best to approve the construction. In the same meeting a church that was growing was denied any special privilege. What a strange world it would be if we removed God from our allegiance.

It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.

George Washington

"Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God… What a Utopia, what a Paradise this region be."

John Adams
